Small businesses and start-up companies are at the forefront of new frontiers in chemistry, and green technology companies face incredible opportunities as well as unique challenges.
New chemical regulations (internationally, nationally, and locally), evolving consumer and market expectations, and increasingly urgent global environmental issues (e.g., climate change) offer countless opportunities for innovative solutions that are green and sustainable.
What does it take to make it as a green chemistry business?
Join me for a symposium titled "Frontiers in Green Chemistry for Small Businesses." I'm organizing this symposium as part of the programming by the Division of Small Chemical Businesses at the ACS National Meeting in Orlando, Florida on March 31 - April 4, 2019. Submit your abstract by October 29, 2018 at https://callforpapers.acs.org/orlando2019/SCHB.
This symposium will offer experiences from successful small green chemistry businesses as well as highlights of recent market trends and resources available especially to small green technology companies.
Contact me (jentanir@towardsafer.com) if you are interested or if you have any questions.
It's shaping up to be an exciting program that you will want to be a part of!
