Technical Input

Providing technical expertise in green chemistry, chemical alternatives, chemicals management strategies, hazard/exposure/risk assessment, polymers/materials, and sustainability, to advance the needs of your organization.

 

Services can include technical input, developing strategies, introduction to industry trends, assistance in lean start-up methodology and customer interviews, background research, survey development, data compilation and analysis, connections to experts/resources/activities, and more. 

 

Examples of experience: scoped out new technical project areas, developed surveys to probe the experiences of practitioners and analyzed results, published reviews of scientific literature, and provided technical assistance & mentorship to green technology start-up companies, including lean start-up methods and customer interviews.

Project Management & Collaborations

Managing projects and leading multi-stakeholder collaborations to advance safer, sustainable chemicals and products.

 

This can include designing a project proposal, coordinating stakeholder group contributions to a project or activity, recruiting members, engaging volunteers, developing consensus, and managing projects with budgets, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.

 

Examples of experience: led multi-stakeholder collaborations of 50+ scientists on chemical alternatives assessment (projects on exposure, hazard data gaps, and decision analysis), managed project budget of $200K with collaboration of 100+ technical experts on 9 concurrent projects, coordinated educators to incorporate green chemistry into each chapter of a textbook, and managed several grants and awards programs.

Meetings

Organizing scientific face-to-face meetings, webinars, workshops, symposiums, and conference sessions, depending on the needs. Put your mind at ease as the technical and logistical aspects of the event are taken care of for you.

Services can include writing and submission of session proposals, invitations to presenters, design of workshop format, development of presentations, and coordination and logistics for the event.

Examples of experience: proposed and chaired sessions at conferences including SETAC and GC&E, coordinated workshop for 200+ attendees, ran 4-day face-to-face meetings, and helped organize conferences of 500+ attendees.

Writing

Writing grant proposals, literature reviews, data summaries/reports, background research, and managing multi-author collaborative writing projects.

 

Examples of experience: with contributions to over 20 publications, ranging from journal articles, book chapters, to textbook contributions, as well as newsletters and other short communications, we have a wide range of experiences to apply.

Training

Tailoring safer chemical training and materials, from a basic introductory level to more in depth and technical, to meet your needs. Training can be directed to professionals, educators, or students.

 

Services can include all aspects of the training, including development of the training course, involvement of expert trainers as needed, development and production of training materials, logistics, and delivery of the course. 

Examples of experience: developed and led training course from inception to delivery and ran training courses for students, educators, professionals.
